Nellis Lodge #46 for 2012!

 

Happy New Years my Brothers!

 

We're off and running, as usual. Nellis is a busy place.  We have our usual ritual work but we're also going to try and do a family night on the 28th (nothing extravagant just fun social stuff).  The 5th Tuesday we are also going to have a Fellowship night.  We will have a dinner and the retire to the lodge room but, the lodge will not open.  This is an open discussion time for us to get to know one another and our masonic ideas. Good health to all and I'll see you the first Tuesday of 2012.

 

Always remember Family and Vocation.

Did you want to participate in a degree and didn’t know who to talk to? Did you want to learn a part?  Were you aware that all members of the lodge are invited to participate in degree work? Please join us on Monday nights for degree practice, sharpen your ritual skills, learn a new part or just have a good laugh.  Remember that you learned most of the first section of each degree as part of your proficiency, may as well use what you already know.

One of the requirements for the silver state award is that some of our brothers take the Nevada Masonic orientation course. This is a course to learn the Masonic code. It consists of five lessons and does not cost anything except a few minutes of your time. I believe you will enjoyed it, I have. This is my second time doing it and I am still learning. If you like information on how to take this course please contact me. I just sent in my third lesson and looking forward for my fourth. If you have any ideas for the meals or if you have a food let me know. Let me know.
